The Rivellino in Locarno, Switzerland, is attributed to Leonardo da Vinci. It was built in 1507 as a new sector of the already existing castle. It is the only extant building designed by Leonardo da Vinci. In 2007 Emanuel Pimenta composed a continuous seven day concert as the official celebration of the five hundred years of the building. Now, as a parallel event to the International Congress The Erased Frontier - Globalization and Culture after the Crisis, at Monte Verita Foundation in Ascona - Locarno, created by Giorgio Alberti, through AlchimiArte and in collaboration with Eranos Foundation there will be an art exhibition, film projections and the concert installation with Emanuel Pimenta's works - with the collaboration of the Contemporary Art Gallery Il Rivellino and the Publishing House ELR, and curated by Giorgio Alberti and Jean Olaniszyn, all happening inside Leonardo's building.
