Deep Ocean in a composition by Emanuel Dimas de Melo Pimenta dedicated to René Berger. The music works with sounds recorded in deep subaquatic regions by NOAA - National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration of the United States, which kindly offered the sound material. The hydrophones are placed at the Eastern Equatorial Pacific, Northern North Atlantic, Central North Atlantic, Marianas in the Pacific Ocean and the Gulf of Alaska. The music score is created inside virtual environments. The concert in New York City at the Björn Ressle Contemporary Art Gallery is dedicated to Dove Bradshaw. Deep Ocean had its world première in Lausanne, Switzerland, in 2005.
