Francesco Cuoghi

Francesco Cuoghi has a degree in classical guitar at the Conservatory of San Pietro a Majella in Naples, Italy. He attended the famous Seminars at Accademia Musicale Chigiana in Siena. He also attended the Atelier de Recherche Musicale at IRCAM in Paris, as well as the Ferienkurse of Darmstadt. Since 1984 he has taught music at the Gioachino Rossini Conservatory in Pesaro. Since 2007 he has been professor at the Conservatory of Florence. Francesco Cuoghi has regularly performed his concerts in Italy as well as in several countries in Europe. Working with a repertoire ranging from baroque music to contemporary composers he is very interested on the production of new experimental classical music. He plays different guitars also with digital systems and he has written some pieces for this instrumentation.
