CONCERTO PARA PIANO E INTELIGÊNCIA ARTIFICIAL LISBOA - No próximo dia 23 de Junho de 2010, terá lugar no , em Lisboa, a primeira audição nacional do concerto de música contemporânea para piano e computador, 15 Pedras, de Emanuel Dimas de Melo Pimenta. O concerto acontecerá durante a entrega do Prémio Nacional de Multimédia, pela . Com seus concertos realizados na Opera Garnier de Paris, no Lincoln Center de Nova York ou no teatro La Fenice de Veneza, Emanuel Dimas de Melo Pimenta trabalhou com o célebre compositor John Cage durante sete anos e foi compositor para o legendário coreógrafo Merce Cunningham durante cerca de vinte e cinco anos, na cidade de Nova York. Com a duração de vinte minutos, 15 Pedras é um concerto para piano e computador onde este cria em tempo real, utilizando recursos de inteligência artificial, a partitura musical. A primeira audição mundial teve lugar em Locarno, Suíça, no ano de 2004, na célebre Fundação Monte Verità, onde também estiveram Paul Klee, Nan June Paik, Eric Fromm ou Edgar Morin entre outros. É a primeira vez que 15 Pedras, dedicado ao filósofo René Berger, é executado em Portugal. O concerto em Portugal será dedicado à cidade de Carrara, em Itália, onde Pimenta é compositor oficial, e ao poeta Filippo Rolla.
